Having grown up as a dancer, Amanda has been practicing yoga on and off for nearly 20 years. Initially, like many, she was drawn to the physical practice – particularly Bikram Yoga – enjoying challenging poses, and exploring boundaries of flexibility and strength.
While this aspect remains, in more recent years Amanda’s relationship with yoga has grown on a subtler level – with lifestyle stress and personal challenge transforming Amanda’s reason for rolling out the mat. Class became more about finding calm, balance and inner peace, and less about nailing Dancers pose!

Upon relocating to Brisbane from hometown Sydney in 2019, Amanda trained as a Vinyasa Yoga Teacher at Raw Power. This life changing course developed her love and knowledge for yogic philosophy, anatomy, sequencing and more, and the transition from student to teacher began!

Amanda’s classes are a combination of strength and creative flow, often set to upbeat tunes to make you smile! No class with Amanda is ever the same, as she explores the unification of breath with mind and body for an energizing total body practice.
